I received this movie as an X-mas gift several years ago and, granted, the purchaser bought it without having seen it. And I can understand that. Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Deborah Unger, William Hurt...ok, so it's not exactly going to hilarious, but the cast dictates it could be a quality flick. NOPE. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. And I saw Eddie. Twice. In the theater. In the same night.
Seriously, Sunshine is supposed to be some stupid generational epic that takes you through the history of one family with Fiennes playing multiple male members of the Sunshine line. Sound interesting? It's not. It's boring as hell and not worth the four and half hours it felt like it lasted. Skip it.
